LowerYourScores.com has now fully launched

Following extensive testing and a soft ‘beta’ launch last September, we have now fully launched our new Statistics and analysis website www.LowerYourScores.com

LowerYourScores.com is an innovative new Performance Analysis system for golfers, designed & developed by Perth-based brothers Niall & Alasdair McGill.

After launching into the Golf Professional market in October last year (Niall is a PGA Professional, based at Noah’s Ark Golf Centre in Perth), the system will have its’ full Public Launch on 28th March. Instead of going to the driving range and just getting the driver out, LowerYourScores.com will make your practice more effective and you’ll be able to track your performance improvement over time.

Where LowerYourScores differs from existing golf statistics systems is in the way it presents data and also in the depth of Performance Analysis it provides. Rather than presenting the user with rows of data in tables, which is very difficult to read and interpret, LowerYourScores is a graphically rich system that makes Performance Analysis easy to understand and makes you want to use it more!

Gent’s and Ladies coaching classes

We run a Gent’s class every Tuesday morning and a ladies class every Thursday morning. Each class runs from 10.30-11.30 am and are great value at just £8 per session, which includes 100 range balls, 1 hours coaching and a coffee after. We had a great driver fitting this week with Christopher Bowler. Christopher has been using a 9 degree R11 driver for the past few years and has enjoyed using it, but was ready for a change. We tested a good few drivers including Callaway X2 Hot & Big Bertha, Titleist 913, PING G25, and TaylorMade JetSpeed & SLDR. Following extensive testing, the clear winner was TaylorMade’s SLDR. A higher launch, lower spin and increased smash factor resulted in an extra 12 yards carry and 27 yards in total distance. Christopher also had a much better dispersion on his shots with fewer balls ending off target.
