Hello Golfers,

We hope you're safe and well.

You couldn't write the script really! Scotland is the only country in the UK where golf is being allowed to be played during the current restrictions and we have the worst weather in 10 years and all our courses are closed!!  Now that really is frustrating.

At least we still have our driving range open and you can come along for a hit of a ball and get some practice done, or at least get rid of some frustration on the golf balls.

New products are beginning to be released as we speak, so please let us know if there is anything that you'd be interested in trying once we reopen!

Competition news

TrackMan League

Entries will be open until the 31st January to enter our TrackMan League.  There are 5 courses to play and we have prizes for the best Scratch and Handicap players at the end of the event.  the courses you will be playing are as follows and they must be played in the order listed.

  • The Castle Course, St Andrews
  • Wentworth
  • Hillwood Country Club
  • Muirfield Village
  • Pebble Beach
TrackMan

The entry fee is £60, which includes 18 holes on each of the 5 courses, plus unlimited range balls whilst you play.

You can either play by yourself or with one other player.  We allow 1.5hrs for single players and 2.5hrs for a 2 ball playing.

Our Trackman simulators are fantastic pieces of kit and this is a great opportunity to have some fun and play some of the world's best courses.

Golf on Tour

Success at the final hurdle

Chris Kirk showed us how golf is more than just a sport at the Sony Open in Hawaii.

The multiple-time winner had to walk away from a successful golf career in 2019 due to mental health struggles and alcoholism, getting himself on the road to recovery. The PGA Tour gave him a chance to regain his full status over a limited number of events, culminating at the Sony Open, where he needed at least a two-way tie for third to secure his card for the 2021 season.

Well, an outstanding birdie on the 72nd hole left him in a two-way tie for second for one of the most heart-warming comeback stories imaginable. Not only that but it's also a great example of making sure you keep going right until the very last hole.
