Speed Sticks If you are looking for a few extra yards off the tee, then we have the perfect bit of kit in-store to help you get there. Our overdrive Speed Sticks are designed to help your increase your clubhead speed and boy... do they work! Having not played a single round of golf in almost a year, I decided a couple of weeks ago to dig my clubs out and get started once again. |
| Since getting back, I have noticed that my clubhead speed has really dropped and I was keen to get it back to a respectable number.
In normal times, my driver club head speed is around 102mph. When I started back tracking my shots on Trackman I was managing only around 97.5mph. |
| After just 15 minutes using Speed Sticks, I managed to increase my clubhead speed by 3.5 mph, reaching 100.9mph.
My resultant ball speed increased by just over 5mph and this resulted in 14 yards more carry! |
| I will need to continue working with speed sticks to further increase my speed, but have to say I am really happy so far.
We are stocking 3 weight of speed stick, 250g, 290g and 330g and we have demonstration models for you to try out on the range. Speed sticks sell for £50 each and a great value for money. |

| Sunday Morning
| Following last Saturday's extreme heavy rainfall, we turned up at North Inch Golf Course Sunday morning to find it very much underwater and flooded. Being located next to the river Tay, this can happen at times and there is nothing we can do about stopping it from happening.
|
| Monday Morning
| What we have done, however, is install some great drainage that helps the water disappear almost a quickly as it arrives. The picture above was taken 24hrs after the flooded picture and we managed to get much of the golf course back open again on Monday. North Inch has a fantastic recovery record from flooding and we will continue to add more drainage to help enhance this further. |

Golf's back on UK soil
When Sergio Garcia won The Masters in 2017, every headline was along the lines of ‘Finally!’. More than three years later, his win at the PGA Tour’s Sanderson Farms Championship marks his first win since and prompted many similar headlines. Although, did you know both victories involved Sergio putting with his eyes shut at impact? On the European Tour, Tommy Fleetwood looked to cap the return of the big names at the Scottish Open, a Rolex Series event, with a victory. But fellow Englishman Aaron Rai upset the odds to beat Fleetwood in a playoff that saw Tommy miss from a couple of feet at the first playoff hole. Both storylines demonstrate the importance of putting well when the pressure's on. So, if you struggle with holing out or three-putt too many times due to poor distance control, send us a message below and we'll be happy to help.
