It is still August, but already the nights are really starting to draw in. Over the past week we have had to start switching on the driving range flood lights at night so that you can see your golf balls fly more easily. Over the past 18 months, we have been gradually upgrading our old metal halide floodlights, to newer, more efficient and brighter LED lights. To enhance this further, we have just ordered a further eight floodlights to cover the left bays and centre section of the range. Once installed, this should make a big difference to your night time practice. As the daylight shortens, this is also a great time to have a go on our TrackMan simulator. You can hire this by the hour to either work on your own game, or to play one of almost 70 simulated courses, including many tour venues. If you have not yet had a go on our simulator, then you really should give it a go, as it is an amazing system. Our custom fitting service remains really busy and continue to offer all custom fitting sessions FREE of charge. If you are fancying a new set of irons, a driver, fairway wood, wedge or putter, then look no further... We use the very latest technologies to help with our custom fitting. With TrackMan 4 and SAM PuttLab technologies, we will help you find the perfect new clubs. This week's newsletter is packed full of useful topics to help you get the most from your game. As well as lots of product for you to feast over, we have an interesting storyline on how hybrids can make golf a lot easier for you! Let us know what you think. Enjoy the read.

Popov and DJ in leagues of their own There are sporting shocks, and then there’s the World No. 304 winning a Major! Germany’s Sophia Popov finished on -7 at Royal Troon to claim victory at the AIG Women’s Open. Despite having never won on the LPGA or Ladies European Tour before, the 27-year-old fought off challenges from stars like World No. 8 Minjee Lee and seven-time Major Champion Inbee Park. Meanwhile, on the PGA Tour, Dustin Johnson won The Northern Trust, the first FedEx Cup playoff event, by shooting a staggering -30. That ended up being an 11-stroke victory, which raises the age-old question of what’s more entertaining:
An all-out birdie fest or tough, battling golf? Shooting these sort of scores requires immense confidence in your game. So, if there's a part of yours that you're particularly struggling with, send us a message below and we'll be happy to help.
