A New Process We understand that investing in new golf clubs can be a big decision to make, both financially and for the potential benefit to your game. Our team are always on hand to offer any assistance and advice that you may require, and we pride ourselves on providing a first-class service to you all, many of whom have been our loyal customers for the past 18 years. We do however understand that we cannot stand still and that we must always continue to adapt when an improvement can be made. Over the past few weeks we have been looking deeply into the overall customer experience and customer journey that you have with us when investing in new clubs and have identified a few areas where we believe improvements can be made. Now don’t get me wrong, the technical information and fitting specifications we provide you with are top notch and second to none. This coming from a combination of our Custom fitting staff’s years of experience along with impact, launch and flight data from Trackman 4. This information will not change. Where we believe we can improve and where most of the golf industry lets itself down is with the level of communication and information provided to you before, during and after your custom fitting and potential purchase. We want to know that you are getting the level of care and attention that you deserve when investing your hard-earned cash in some new clubs. Our new system will see us walk you through the entire process, starting before your initial contact with us (much more information on our website for you to research), all the way through to post purchase where we will monitor the performance of your new clubs to help make sure you achieve the goals and aspirations that prompted you to make the purchase. Over the next 4-6 weeks we will gradually start to implement our new processes, which will include more regular contact by both email, telephone and face to face. |
Trade-In your old golf clubs for store credit This is a popular promotion that we have run several times over the years and will go live once again from Friday 12th July. If you have any unused clubs that are sitting gathering dust, then you can bring them in to Noah’s Ark and once inspected, we will give you a store credit to the value of the trade in price offered. This credit can then be used for the purchase of any goods within our store, including clothing, clubs or bags. We are looking for clubs from the big brand manufacturers, including Callaway, Ping, TaylorMade, Titleist and Cobra. Clubs need to be in good condition and not more than 10 years old. In many cases, we will be able to offer you a valuation as you wait, otherwise, we will email or call you with the valuation. Please don’t bring in clubs from lesser-known brands, as we simply do not have a market to sell them on. Also, please don’t take offence if we turn down you clubs for trade in. We are only able to take in clubs that we believe we can easily sell on and this may mean that yours do not fit the bill! There will be a web page with more information uploaded to our website over the next few days. Click here and get in touch if you are interested and would like to know more. |
TaylorMade Fitting Day We have scheduled in a TaylorMade demo day for the Saturday 20th of July 12pm-4pm. With the latest equipment in store from p790 irons to the m5 & M6 drivers, we are offering FREE 30-minute fitting slots, where our PGA Professional Kevin McNiven will help you find the best suited clubs. Play Better Golf Splash it Out The greenside bunker shot can be tricky and one that requires practice to become competent and more importantly confident. At address, you should aim your body a little left of your target with the ball towards the front of your stance making it easier to strike the sand before the ball. You should also slightly open the clubface, which will allow the bounce on the sole of the clubhead to do its job. Now make your backswing bearing in mind that you are going to strike the sand before the ball and as such will need more momentum to carry the ball out of the bunker than if you were playing from grass. When you swing down you should aim to strike the sand about 2-3 inches before the ball and ensure that you make a relatively full follow through as this will help to propel your ball towards the pin. Remember that the greenside bunker shot is the only time in golf that you are not trying to hit the ball but instead are relying on the explosion of the sand to make the ball fly out of the bunker. Make sure you create enough momentum with your swing to make this happen. Click here and get in touch if you would like to book a lesson. |
