Equipment Survey
As some of you may have noticed in my past newsletter, we are now running an equipment survey. This is an online questionnaire that takes no more than five minutes of your time, and it can dramatically improve the service that we offer you.
By filling out the options, such as the current clubs you have, whether you have had custom fitting experience, and what brands you would be looking to add to your golf game in the future, we can assess what you want, and look to bring the brands that you want to buy in to the pro shop as new stock for the 2015 season.
If you have a spare 5 minutes, then please click here and fill out this extremely useful survey!
LowerYourScores.com is now FREE for all golfers
If you want to improve your golf, then you need to start tracking your on course performance. Only then can you truly know where your practice time should be spent.
Improving your golf game isn't just about beating balls on the range, to improve in the most effective way it's imperative that you know exactly what part of your game needs he most work and what part will make the biggest difference to our game.
In the past, the only statistics that were really recorded were fairway hit, greens in regulation and putts per round.
LowerYourScores goes much deeper into the analysis than that and through research we understand that to make a real improvement, you've got to learn about where you bad shots go and with which clubs you hit them. Only then can you action an effective practice plan.

Swing Tip
The Left Arm - Why can't I keep my left arm straight?
This is a question that I'm asked on a very regular basis and today I'll show you how to keep your left arm nice and straight as you swing back.
The most common reason I see for a collapsed left arm is an over extension of the body on the backswing. What's an 'over extension' you may be asking?
Well this relates to how far your hands and arms extend away from your lead foot on the backswing. If you sway off the ball and stretch your arms so that they are too far from your lead foot then you will become stuck and unable to turn any further.
This, I believe is the major cause of the bent left arm as your brain tells you that your backswing is not complete but that you need to swing further before starting your downswing. Unfortunately, your body can't turn any more therefore the only way you can complete your backswing is to fold your left arm. No matter how much you try to keep your left arm straight, over extension renders this impossible.
To fix this is quite simply. Start your swing with a left arm straight, and then turn your shoulders and arms in sync to the top of your backswing making sure that you pivot centrally without sway. This central pivot will allow you to make a full body turn without over extending and as such you muscles will allow your left arm to remain straight.
