Do you want to drive the ball longer and straighter?
Noah's Ark PGA Pro and 'Long Baller' Fraser Cramb is holding a session on improving you driving distance and accuracy on Thursday, 21 July at Noah's Ark.
This session will run from 5pm - 6pm and Fraser will be using the latest Flightscope launch monitor along with his own expertise to help you gain some yardage and hit more fairways.
For those of you that don't know Fraser's driving prowess, let me just say that he hits is VERY long!
Fraser generates a huge amount of power in his swing and his club head speed is a massive 120mph+.
This sort of speed puts Fraser amongst the top 5% of Tour Pro's.
If you'd like to learn how to hit it longer, then come learn from one of the areas longest hitters.
At just £12 per person, this is fantastic value for money and will be a great opportunity to improve your game.
Places are limited, so don't hesitate, get in touch today by calling us on 01738 440678 or contacting us at info@noahsarkgolf.com

Open Pitch & Run With the Open Championship being played this week down at historic Troon, the weather conditions are once again likely to play a big part. It is the Scottish summer, so don't be expecting hot balmy days!
With this in mind the world's top players are going to have to adapt and that means it's time for some old school tactics!!
We all know about the chip and run shot from close by the green, but have you ever played a pitch and run? It's not really a different shot, it's just played from further away, up to around 80 to 100 yards. The pitch and run is a great links shot, but can also be played very effectively on inland courses, especially when the wind blows or the ground is firm.
Today I'll show you how…
The pitch and run is actually quite a simple shot to play, it's really all about choosing the correct club for the shot. In today's pictures I am using an 8 iron although you can use almost any club in your bag, the ball will simply pitch more or run more depending on your choice.
Step 1 - Your feet should be quite close together with the ball towards your back foot and your weight favouring your lead side.
Step 2 - You should now swing back around half way keeping your hands very passive, with little to no wrist hinge.
Step 3 - Now swing through focusing on moving your arms and body in time, once again keeping your hand action to a minimum.
You should keep an even tempo and remember that it's the length of your swing and the club you select will determine how far the ball travels and NOT how hard you swing.
It's been another busy week down at North Inch and Glenn and his team have been hard at work keeping the course in top notch condition.
We have applied wetting agent, seaweed and iron to the greens this week which will help the grass sward during the warmer weather and give them a little boost.
We have also applied fungicide to the greens as the warm damp weather, although being great for the greens, is also prime conditions for fungicides like fusarium patch to take hold. The fungicide that we use is both preventative and curative and should protect the greens for the next 2 to 3 months after which point we will likely have to apply a second treatment.
I'm sure you will all agree that the course is looking the best it has for years and I can assure you that we will continue to work on improving these conditions for the better enjoyment of your golf.
